I’ve always been a dreamer.

A big dreamer. The eternal optimist. The believer. The ‘if I can dream it, I can achieve it’ kind of girl.

I say the bigger the dream, the better.

I say, let’s have it ALL!! The career oozing with impact. Adventures that dance in our memories for a lifetime. Relationships that feed our souls. LOL’s all day long.

We CAN have it all. 

It’s SAFE to have it all. 

It’s POSSIBLE to have it all.

Here’s the magic secret with big dreams though…

It has to be your version of ‘it all’.

Where we get tripped up is in trying to create someone over there’s version of ‘it all’. To duplicate what she has. To design the life they believe we should be living. To live into the career path they think would be great for us.

Nope. That’s impossible to achieve. You’ll forever feel unfulfilled, always be searching for ‘it’ because that’s not aligned to YOU.

It has to be yours. And it doesn’t matter if no one else gets it, believes in it, or wants it too.

And here’s the other thing…

You have to bet on yourself. 

Trust that you have what it takes to make it happen. 

Trust that you’ll do the work to get there. 

Trust that you’ll make the right choices along the way. 

Trust that you’ll meet the right mentor to guide you.

Trust that you’ll fall in love with the journey. 

Trust that you’ll act from faith, not fear.

Trust that you can handle the failures.

Trust that you’ll fall, get up, and keep it moving.

Trust that you’ll be brave enough to choose your own destiny.

My dreams are special and so are yours.

Share them only with people who’ll treat them with the same reverence and care that you do.

Find people who believe in your dream as much as they believe in their own. 

The active dream chasers. 

The high achiever. 

The leaders. 

The influencers. 

The ones who keep stepping forward. 

Find the ones who inspire you to be, do, want, create more. That’s your tribe. Those are your people.

And for everyone else, just smile, and keep on dreamin’ on.
